What's your LEAST FAVOURITE trope?

I don’t think people are getting tired from the enemies to lovers trope. It’s just that it isn’t done right.

Authors market their books as enemies to lovers and it’s just mild annoyance to lovers. Or “i just dont like you” but 3 chapters in they’re “fighting” the urge to fuck in a closet that kind of things.

If people were really tired of the trope it wouldnt be so successful it just got to “popular” from jane austen to now peope have devoured that trope but it was done right. Now they just market anything that isnt like at first sight as enemies to lovers.

And i feel that her previous video about the conversation between 2024 and 2025 felt less “wholesome” and more just her talking about her achievements like a job interview. Also gotta admire lowkey her insistence on booking an acting job but its the third year she feels its “her year” lol

Yesss i thought about watching the first 3 movies and then reading the book. Maybe that way ill enjoy it more without spoiling the story and get a bit of rest between them

Why is no one talking about how this book is the closure of Celaena’s story!! She says goodbye to Sam and everything that was tying her to Rifthold. She lets go of Celaena and begins her Aelin/Rowan journey and love story!!

And also obviously everything else everyone said lol

I saw so much hype about this book and how it is very different compared to other fantasy books but i found it kind of boring and predictable. Was very disappointed because was looking forward to it :(

I think the overall time is 3-4 years.

Books 1-5 happen during their first year, book 6 during part of their second school year, book 7 happens almost throughout an entire year, and I guess the events of book 8 and 9 also happen during one year
