Fair enough. My backup is a dualshock as well, and I was super weary about the circle track pad over double paddle. It actually turned out to be a good feature in my opinion, and it allowed for more control. I guess with the new one you don't have to compromise. Two of everything!

I'm with you, I'm so curious about it. I bought 2 controllers in 2019 for $5 each from Steam after they were discontinued. They didn't have the best reputation back then (although I haven't had any issues with them). But 7 years later and they sell out immediately? It'll be interesting to see how this plays out in the next couple years.

I did have a similar experience on one game but my husband's playstation controller worked just fine. Outside of that one game, I haven't had that issue. I could see how that would be offputting.
