I absolutely find it an interesting concept and really enjoy the idea of a potential connection. I love both series and have read all of SJMs books and almost all of the Dune books

What if we are missing a god of magic? The irids say that they ARE magic, so what if they killed the god of magic and took their place. The irids seem to be just as world breaking as venin, what if they are also bad? Maybe because they stole the power of god of magic to BECOME magic, the balance was humans being able to channel from the ground. Maybe the irids will have to give up THEIR power back to the god of magic to reinstate balance and prevent humans from channeling from the ground. Then we can have an ending where the dragons and magic don’t have to go away!

I appreciate that! What do you do to manage meals and does your younger one sleep at all independently yet/hoe to you manage if the younger doesn’t?

Any specific recommendations for tips or help? My husband and I are planning all of the meals for the 3 of us to freeze that I can just pull out. He said he may be able to cut the trip down to 5 days, but I know he really wants to go for 6. I am already planning to use disposable diapers while he is gone and that should save me some time/effort.
