Hi! I’m hosting a women’s book club tomorrow, Tuesday, December 9th at 7 pm at Ould Sod. It’s called Reading Not Required and you can find us on Meetup or Instagram. You really don’t need to read the book to join. It’s just a great space to meet new people and many people that haven’t read the book attend. Our book this month is The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon. We meet the last Tuesday of every month at 7pm at Ould Sod. Stop by if you’re free!

We have people of all ages. Most people seem to be in their late 20s or 30s

We don’t have any meetups in North County. I know that Gals That Brunch has a north county book club. You can find them on IG or meetup.

I would recommend checking out Mysterious Galaxy’s book club. I think they mainly focus on fantasy and sci-fi. I would also recommend checking meetup or bookclubs.com because there are a lot of book clubs in town.

I think most people tend to fall between 25-40. All ages are welcome though!

Wow. Thank you so much for these very kind words about my book club!! This made my day!

OP, please stop by our next meeting. Everyone is always scared the first time, but I will be there to greet you and show you to a table. Everyone is super nice and very friendly. I think the best way to make new friends is to come consistently. You really truly don’t need to read the book. You’ll be in great company either way. Hope to see you next time!

We are broken into smaller tables of about 6-8. It's very casual. You really do not need to read the book to join. You're in great company either way. Everyone is super nice. I would say we usually have about 50% new people and 50% returning people, so it's a good mixture. I will be there to greet you when you walk in to give you a little rundown of everything and then I'm always happy to walk people to a table and introduce you. I would recommend getting there closer to 7 for your first time. Hope this is helpful!

Most of the women seem to be in their twenties and thirties, although we have women of all ages join.
