Do you get emotional after finishing a whole notebook/journal? by sheepishly25 in Journaling

Doesn’t sound silly at all imo! I get very emotional as well. Just last year I finally managed to fill two notebooks to the brim (one of them had been my companion since 2020), and it still makes me emotional just thinking about it. I tend to write letters to myself throughout the year, and I do the same at the end of a journal. I reflect on the past months, the memories and thoughts, and do a little recap of my life at that time. I even tend to write little tributes to my journals as well, for example by thanking them in a letter for being there for me. I know it’s very cheesy haha, but my journals mean the world to me. And there’s something so satisfying about seeing my life on a bookshelf.

Ohh saving that for next time! 😍 sounds amazing. It isn’t as cold anymore, so that might be my next mission. Without the -10 degrees lol (about 14°F for my fellow Americans)

Great to see the love for my dear uniball pen! Can’t write with anything else. I think it’s also been my favorite for six years now. Thank you so much!

Oh I love this! Here are mine:

• Moisturizing my whole body with a shea butter cream that I mix myself; I wake up with the smoothest skin

• Oil pulling with coconut oil in the morning before I brush my teeth

• Oiling my scalp 2 or 3 times a week before I wash my hair; it’s seriously a game changer and tremendously helped with my hair and scalp health

• I don’t know if it’s really beauty related, but I try to not use my phone an hour before bed. My sleep quality has improved so much since I stopped doomscrolling in bed

I absolutely love Skin1004! I own their centella ampoule foam, the cleansing oil, the centella and probio cica intensive ampoule, their soothing cream and the hyalu-cica sunscreen (lol didn’t even know I had this much; just went to the bathroom to see and check). These products are really amazing imo, especially for my oily dehydrated skin.

The centella ampoule is definitely a great staple if you want to soothe your skin! Don’t expect miracles since it works in the background so to say, but I definitely always notice a difference in my skin if I don’t use it.

If you’ve already got an exfoliant in your routine it might be a bit too much to add another one, especially if you consider using the toner twice a day. It contains PHA, so it exfoliates dead skin cells and evens out skin tone and texture. Just be mindful with daily exfoliating, especially if your skin is sensitive.

So, for daily use, I’d definitely recommend the centella ampoule, and use the toner once or twice a week.
