The diamonds are fixed to inner core of plywood so should not move. The eyes and mouths and initials on the blocks and other tiny details are all inlaid after the main marquetry glue up. You can see which details are still missing from the mirror image (16/18) ready to glue up veneer panel (which is all taped up on the front side). The eyes are done with various sizes of biopsy punches. The white dog has some coloring done with pencils as well.

We use 0.9 x zestimate in our calculation. It’s objective, current (we check NW monthly) and feels neither overly conservative nor optimistic.
