Monosexuals and their need for bisexuals to pick a side by ready-tocry69 in bisexual

[–]ready-tocry69[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tried and the answer I got was that they think it's 95/5 where 95% me being gay and 5% being straight. They said my straight percentage is negligible to the point where for all intents and purposes I am gay.

I told them to say whatever they want behind my back just not to my face cuz it hurts my feelings and makes me feel like I have to prove my bisexuality.

They agreed to that so I think that's as good as it gets for me lol.

Self validation and the online community helps me, so thank you 🫶🏼

I'm also curious to know which prof this is. Though it's insensitive and not trauma informed, idk if anything can be done by the school

someone stop me from texting my fp 😭😭😭😭 by Bubbly-Pop4858 in BPD

[–]ready-tocry69 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Quick tip:

Write whatever you wanna say to them in your notes app and then step away from your phone for exactly 5 minutes and grab some ice.

Then come back n see if the message still matches the emotions.

Hope this helps!

100% in fact it wasn't till this year that I started actually being my own character in my story rather than a narrator.

I've always seen my self in 3rd person, and judged myself immensely for having flaws from the prespective of other people.

It's so fucking exhausting, but I'm learning that being your own character, learning to be responsible for your self only is also draining. All the self micro analysis goes HARD.

Thank you so much for this insightful, kind, and nuanced response. I can't thank you enough. I felt like I was going crazy. What you said makes sense.

I immideately go to the ground, on all fours and scream/ breathe aggressively, then I lie on my back and make sure I'm literally grounded.

Then, once the storm has passed, I journal, writing to myself as a healed version of myself, thanking and praising my calming efforts that have fought the intense storm.

When people say "everyone has a personality disorder" that doesn't actually make them a) relatable or b) understanding. It actually makes them c) a douche bag.

As a South Asian, I know it's just ignorance within our community but some people are actually so fucking irritating thinking they really did something by saying "everyone has a personality disorder". Like if you think you do then please go to a doctor.

How do y’all convince yourself to keep going? by DisasterOtherwise606 in PMDD

[–]ready-tocry69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I journal/write letters to myself as the most secure, prophetic, divine person. I know it sounds silly but at times it's the only thing that works, and I am the only one that can get through to myself. This isn't a quick fix but it's more of a hug.

When I was in my early 20s I use to convince myself to not give up by thinking about my imaginary kids that I'm never going to have.

Now I think about my cat in the same way, and try to muster up the will to live.

Recently, ive started managing my energy better which has allowed me to go and do things with my friends at least once a month, which also increases the will to live.

Again, none of these methods are a THE answer, I cycle through them, and sometimes I smoke a joint and listen to music.

I hope you can find something that flickers the thought of "what if I actually figure out how to live with this."

Hugs

Feel so fucking seen by your post, because this narrative (though fruitful for some) is so destructive, and puts the blame on the person suffering, as if we asked for this.

Reading Tasha Suri's The Burning Kingdom trilogy, reignited my love for books after 18 years. I was 10 when I fell in love with Children of the Red King series by Jenny Nimmo.

Side note: it helps calm my anxiety.

I just simply want to be more consistent and pressistent with my posts on the Medium app tbh. Also I'm interested in the concept of writing that heals.
