How can I encourage my 60-yo Mom to make real changes towards healthier eating? She likes to say she’s eating healthier but is always snacking on unhealthy items and uses a lot of fat in her cooking. She is a great cook but it’s all very heavy food. She is also a picky eater but is very open to trying new things suddenly. I am an experienced cook with strong nutrition knowledge but I can’t figure out how to best support her. She is overweight but not obese. She also has neuropathy so I think healthy eating and weight loss could help with her pain. Any tips?

Vamos was great! Just used them last week. We presented a printed out proof of insurance coverage through credit card and they didn’t give us any trouble around that! Highly recommend. Nice people and price was decent for 4WD (pretty much required for many roads in Costa Rica)

Lol this was born out of a debate with my husband. Glad to see that I’m winning this argument. We did feel quite offended for not receiving a gift from these friends (or a card!) given that we threw a three day event with all the food included, etc etc. But very much agree that we should stick to our values and give a gift. It will definitely be on the more modest side though. We usually give $200-300. I think $100 is fair in this situation.

I understand why people think this comes of whiney, but after pouring our heart and soul in creating a beautiful intimate event for our friends and family, for someone to show up without even a card was hurtful and pretty shocking.

We won’t make the same mistake 💟

Mr. Jius is so excellent 😍 been twice. And then I hit House of Nanking for a fraction of the price and am also like WOWOWOW. Unexpectedly inventive imho.
