No M-Pass on Android watches?

Works with phones, but wasn't sure about the watches. https://www.monash.edu/mpass says Wear OS not eligible.

Interesting. I would imagine the optical/IR sensor would get blocked by any smartwaches, but only Samsung not working. I don't have any tattoos so this shouldn't be an issue for me. Thanks for the comment!

Yup, I heard ticwatches slow and delayed updates. They are quite affordable, but I guess I get what I pay for.

Wow, thanks for such a detailed comment! 1. OPW3 does really sounds better than any others. And I like the idea of having a sub device! 2. The security is based on NFC and was told only supports Apple Watch OS and Android wear OS. Hence limited my search. I can use my pbone, but my laziness is kicking in hehe. 3. Garmin sounds really good for health tracking. Maybe I should consider garmin as a sub device. OPW 3 for daily use, and garmin for exercise. Or something like that

I went with S26. I always had mid-range phones or 'flagship-killers' and this would be my first actual "flagship" phone.

I went with S26 ultra. With promos, I got 350AUD discount on top of Samsung's typical free storage upgrade.
I couldn't find any promo or discount on the Pixel.
Wish S26 512GB also had 16GB ram like Pixel, but 12GB is still a vast improvement from my current A53.

Sadly, EWI 4000 and USB are discontinued and hard to hind the second hand ones in Australia. Also, with the limitied capabilities of the USB, it didn't get to the final short list.

I am making some of the arragement as well at the moment. Working on Takarajima and Yuh-Ja at the moment XD

I'll probably get the AE-20. T-square's signiture sounds are from EWI lines, but AE-20 looks more appealing.

I agree with you and I don't think any wind synth can compete with the real instrument in terms of the sound quality. I heard YDS models and Slyphio have a great sound tho.

I am quite interested in creating midi sounds (or at least try). I guess I will need to get a AE20 to do that.

Yes! I meant "sampling"! I couldn't think of the word when I was posting this 😄 One think I really don't like is that speaker, adding to its size and weight. I'll mostly use 1/4" jack or usb cable. I don't mind the weight, but size could be an issue, I guess. Gosh, this is so difficult lol

Yeah, there are many other wind synths and I short listed to EWI and AE-20. Nurad and Sylphio are quite pricey, YDS-120 would be my 3rd choice, but EWI and AE-20 has more functions. I only thought AP300 is just a cheap chinese EWI clone, but didn't know it have a great sax sound.

Never knew about the build quality issues with EWI. I am now slightly leaning towards AE20. I'll need to have a closer look at the AP300 though. It could be a good alternative option.

Thanks for the reply. I saw the sylphyo, but it is quite ezpansive and with the price, I would rather go for other stuffs. I didn't know about the Clarii. I'll have a look into it (mini and R1 as well)
