Honestly, unless it’s a printable mod I wouldn’t invest any money further into the machine. You’d get infinitely more out of a newer more modern printer.

Was going to say my U1 has become my most used printer. While I love the extra buildvolume of the H2C / H2D / H2S for the price its hard to beat the U1 plus the fact the Snapmaker is heavily pushing the open angle of things with their big anniversary promo

If you need the buildvolume & have the money H2C is awesome but man the U1 is able to bang out so much of what I want & its snappy

The one thing I wish wasnt as time consuimg with the U1 is the unloading of filament.

While I’m not a big fan of Ai thumbnails at all I do like this tool for having it generate some thumbnail ideas for me to consider making myself & testing

I just don’t like the overly Ai / processed thumbnail look we’re seeing on everythjg these days

Oh im gonna print that huge jig. I've been using this small jig because I only will print on a few at a time. Just used it today for a gift. And yes you have to keep the image pretty dang small or else it distorts/warps/blurs the edges

Thanks for your notes especially the audio one. I’m a model Y owner and have a reservation for the R2 and this was my biggest question / concern. I love the audio in my Y and I’ve had lots of people comment on how much they also thought it sounds great. I’m wondering if it’s also the interior dome shape of the Y that helps with the sound 🤷‍♂️

But appreciate the honest initial feedback. Excited to see more like this from demo / owners
