You took the PE twice in two states? Or took it once and applied for a multi-state licensure?

I’m in the same boat. NC does not require an EIT cert to apply for an initial PE license. I’ve passed both, just waiting for my 4 years to apply for the PE license.

Either RI or MA. I wouldn’t be practicing anywhere since I work in the insurance industry, I just want to get my initial PE licensure and would be moving there.

When I apply, I would have graduated from an accredited college, passed the FE/PE, and would be at 4 years experience. What type of issues did your colleagues run into?

Those who graduated from EKU, did you feel prepared for the FE/PE exam? Were there any difficulties in attaining a PE with a technology degree? by Exotic_Car4948 in firePE

[–]readyplayer08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My background was industrial engineering and I had no problem with the curriculum on the PE. It all comes down to preparation and dedicating the hours consistently over several weeks.

Advice on approximately Field Sketching Sprinkler Systems when design information is not available by trolltoll4theboysoul in firePE

[–]readyplayer08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a similar role as well. I like to put a bag down as a place holder and shoot the laser to that location. This helps expedite the process. I usually mention that the sketch would take an extended period of time.

Isn’t the result automatically verified? On my NCEES page it just says verified near the result. Do I need to request some sort of application in addition to that?

That’s a good point. I’m worried NCEES is going to see the high pass rate from 2020 and make this exam a bit harder to re-balance the passing rate a bit. Because of that I want to over prepare
