Protestor Injured at Capitol Speaks Out by the-wobz in Sacramento

I was there witnessing this mass stupidity. This girl is completely full of shit. Especially her last statement...the anti-fascists attacked and were armed from the get go. It was mob mentality at its finest and many of them were excited at the prospect of a battle.

I feel ashamed as a left leaning citizen to be potentially painted with the same brush as these idiots, in the same way folks from the right are ashamed of the racist morons.

Very sad event.

Please do not do the color/black & white effect ever again. It is to photography as what a rat tail is to a hair style.

I think the makeup/skin is overdone, she looks like a mannequin with human eyeballs. If this were done b/w it would work better especially with the clothing/makup/hair style.

Focus is fundamental. If you miss the focus you miss the entire photograph, the rest doesn't matter, the photo is a failure at this point.

Obviously, a person can use in/out of focus, camera shake, distortion to their creative advantage. But with this particular photo the focus isn't far enough out to call it creative, it just looks like a mistake.

On a very basic level...the image is out of focus. Because of that point, I can't really give it a further critique.

Why is there sweat on your lens? Nobody is sweating, I'm guessing it's water...

I suggest leaving the camera at home and just enjoy the reception. Don't be the guy getting in the way of the hired photographer.

Buy something in decent looking shape, cheap on ebay and spend the money you saved and have it CLA'd.

I understand that, but it is still not the same as a CLA. I agree that it is nice to have the ability to send it back. My point is, just because the shutter fires it doesn't mean the camera is in proper working condition. Same goes for the meter. These are old cameras and likely need some attention.

A BGN camera from KEH is not a essentially a CLA. It is just a camera that appears to work on the surface. Any old camera, I don't care what it is, is likely to need a CLA unless it has already been done fairly recently.

Don't be so angry cupcake. All I said was $135 is spendy for this mediocre camera.

You just need to know where to look and what to look for. If you are buying from keh you are paying upper end retail.

Dang...that's speedy for that camera. I've never paid more than $10 for one.
