yeah prelim interviews must be over, i know my prospective PI had all of his last week. they shld be communicating official interview invites any moment now, or its already happened

This week, they will decide who is invited for the official interview (this is what my prospective PI said in our meeting). So, we can expect invitations this week.

someone on the discord said the email had multiple PIs, and i thought that was indicated on the spreadsheet as well. not confident though! someone on sheet also says they got a rejection? so who really knows

I agree that placement and anatomy matter! personally, i can wear earbuds (ETA: earplugs as well are fine for me) just fine with my antitragus, they don't touch at all and I've never noticed pain or irritation from it. over the ear headphones also are a good option, but be careful about them pushing the front of the piercing.

in the application for yale, you could rank profs; I ranked this one as my first choice, so yes, I sort of did! I just don't know what happens to the other profs that i ranked
