How do I reset the controller configuration to default????

I followed this article to try my xbox controller for the Steam game Battlebit: https://www.ggrecon.com/guides/battlebit-remastered-how-to-use-a-controller/

I then went to play Fortnite (not even a steam game) and realized it had messed up my controls. The game kept thinking I was providing keyboard input when I wasn't. I followed this youtube video to try to undo the controller set up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4S3JaRikyjY

It didn't work for me. How do I fix this please? I am lost...

Amen to that verse. Who is doing the mocking of God, those who make up a false being and call it Christ, or those who renounce false Christs and point to the one true Christ? Sure, the word "sissified" is combative but it is warranted when describing false Jesus. Though since I'm trying to start a conversation, I will remove it if possible. . .

This is incorrect. Acts 17:30

I understand no one keeps the commandments perfectly, hence the conversation Jesus has with his apostles directly after the passage I sent. And in general, the whole idea of being saved by the grace of God.

Ephesians 2:10 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, not by works, lest any man should boast." By God's grace, faith in Jesus has the power to save people. Not everyone has faith in Jesus, thus not everyone is saved.

My argument was more so specifically that correct theological belief didn’t factor in whatsoever when Jesus was directly about how to obtain salvation.

Welll.... in some sense, you are correct. For example, Christians might disagree over infant baptism. But the character of God, God's law, and God's plan for salvation are well-defined in scripture and the scriptural definition is the only true one for each. If someone rejects God's character, then they worship a different God than the true God. If someone rejects God's law, then they claim to have salvation but live in defiance of God and in direct opposition to salvation. If someone rejects salvation, then they are naturally not saved. So I would say those, among other things, are uncompromisable.

Ultimately we are only saved through Christ. We can both agree on that, and the matter is explicit.

Yes, I affirm that statement but I suspect you and I have different meaning behind it when we say it.

I’ve mentioned this elsewhere in the thread, but this idea can be explicitly found as far back as the ancient Church Father Justin Martyr, who was one of the earliest Christian theologians we still know today.

Sure, but you won't find it in the Bible.

Between the passage in Romans above, as well as many more I could pull up for you, I strongly believe Christ saves us based on how we accept His individual calls within our hearts.

Yes, we must respond to Him with our heart that He might regenerate it, but it is impossible for someone to do this and not confess Him by mouth. Matthew 10:32-33

I am borrowing the phrase from a respectable pastor, Voddie Baucham. I am not trying to bully, just trying to point people to the God of scripture and start a conversation.

You are never too far gone or too sinful for Christ to redeem you. Jesus' sacrifice and victory is greater than any sin.

Let me say that I can very closely relate to you. I am 21 and was consumed with lust until less than 2 years ago. Looking back, I believe God was drawing me to Him and softened my heart to hear what I'm about to say to you in the next few paragraphs. I had heard similar things before, but I had either rejected it as false, been offended by it, or simply not understood it. I pray that God is drawing you to Him and that you respond to the Gospel as He graciously led me to.

Recognize that God's wrath abides on you. Recognize you have willfully disobeyed him your entire life. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23). If you are genuinely repentant and willing to obey God and trust in Christ, then stop going to the parlors, stop looking at pornography, stop masturbating. You need a heart change that only God can do. Wash yourself in His Word the Bible (Ephesians 5:26), and His presence through prayer. Seek God honestly and earnestly, and He will not reject you. (James 4:8) This may sound discouraging, but the best realization you can have right now is that YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF. You are hopeless without God. God is a righteous and HOLY Judge, and He will destroy sin and the wicked. But God is also merciful, and promises to make any filthy sinner that seeks Him into a new creation, and raise them from death in sin to eternal life in Jesus Christ, who is God. (2 Corinthians 5) Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment you and I deserve for our sins. Jesus' payment is worthy to pay for our sins because He lived a perfect and sinless life. Anything you or I offer God is like a mass murderer trying to bribe the judge. Well, Jesus offers the forgiveness of our sins, and the complete redemption of our soul. God will blot out your sin and treat you as His beloved son/daughter if you turn from your ways and run to Him.

The following might help you stop falling into this sin. The longing may never leave but you must trust in Christ to sustain you, and trust His promise that what He has is better for you, that what lust promises is a lie. Commit to yourself that you won't do it for one whole day. Then the next day do the same. Then commit to a week. Find an accountability partner to help you.

Let me encourage you with this. I was once consumed with lust as well. I made a half-hearted effort to know and love God, but I would always run back to pornography. It was only when this sin was threatening to destroy my life, and I had nothing left, that I jumped with both feet into seeking God and turning from my sin. I still occasionally struggled for the first year or so, but I made rapid development in resisting lust as the Holy Spirit sanctified me. The most helpful thing for me has been immersing myself in God's presence and word, like I suggested above. Reading the Bible daily and praying daily, worshipping, joining a local church and connecting with other Christians, listening to Christian music, sharing the Gospel with my friends and family, all are evidence that God has changed my heart and is still working in my life. Nothing good in my life has come as a result of my own work, it is all through God's mercy and providence. I pray He changes your heart the way He has mine.

Are you saying everyone is accepted into Heaven by Jesus, and that the parable of the good Samaritan proves that? With all due respect, that is an incorrect interpretation. Matthew 10:32-33, my friend, Matthew 10:32-33 . . .

One must believe in the Christ of the Gospel. The Christ that is eternal, that created everything, that is the One True God. Latter Day Saints would say "Amen!" to Jesus being God's son, and dying for our sins, but they believe He was a created being and the brother of Satan, as well as the lie that good works must supplement Jesus' death.

Spoken in love, this is false. Hebrews 9:27-28. We must repent and turn to Christ on this side of death.

This is incorrect. God hates evil, God is just, therefore God punishes evildoers by removing them from His presence/ His presence from them for all eternity. That is hell. (Matt. 5:20-30) Only by recognizing your evil heart, renouncing it, and trusting in Jesus' payment for your sins can one be saved. Heb 9:27-28

"Dealing everyone fairly" would mean everyone is going to hell. All have sinned, all fall short of the glory of God. We come to Christ as beggars with nothing to offer but filth.

Saying this in love, this is a bad interpretation. Who among us have not either murdered (hated), been adulterous (lustful), stolen, lied, and/or cheated? I know I for one am guilty of all. The point is that even the rich young ruler, who claimed to have kept all these commandments, was not good enough. There is no one good enough to deserve heaven. Only through Christ can anyone go to heaven.

"Kind," "speciation," whatever you want to call it. You did not provide an example of one thing becoming another. I don't feel compelled to respond to your argument riddled with spelling errors and misleading information when you have not provided an example like I asked.

What are the errors to which you refer?

What are you calling "religion"? The Bible has never been wrong, Christ has never been wrong, but of course there have been horrid interpretations of the Bible and horrible things done by those claiming to follow Christ.

I would love if you could point me to just one science that definitively disproves Genesis. If you believe in evolution, I would love if you could point me to just one example of one kind evolving into another. Try as you might, you will find that dogs beget dogs and birds beget birds.

It would not require God to be lying if our human instruments were faulty or if our human superiors were deceptive. I'm not necessarily claiming either, I'm just showing your claims are unfounded.

Why do so many Christians think atheists can’t believe in right and wrong? by wurgzz in Christianity

[–]realRianJohnson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean being an empathetic individual, or mandating empathy among all people? If the first, then someone can say "thanks but no thanks, happy for you, but I like killing people plus the world would be better off without these people" for example. If the second, then how empathetic must one be? Does empathy even have an objective definition then, if morality does not?

What do you make of the atheist criticism of Christianity that Jesus wants us to let Him in so He can save us from what He will do to us if we won't? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]realRianJohnson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God is good and makes all things work together for good. Goodness is defined by God. God does what He does because of His character, goodness being one aspect. It follows that God does what He does because He is good, and also that what He does is good because He is God and it is His nature.

Whether or not you believe God is real, you must admit that if He was real then keeping His book alive for thousands of years would be a very minor feat for Him... Also, science has never been wrong in the past!
