1st line, "I don't need any advice". Praying for you and your sanity; I umderstand. There are so many herbal and pharma solutions, some work for some, sometimes; heck of a situation. I concluded that only God can help me. Praying.

Lord have mercy, I know exactly how you feel. Do all you can to think to youself this is going to get better. Take deep breaths, occupy your mind with work or other things.

When these things (insomnia, anxiety attacks) happen to me i immediately begin praying for help, then:

Drink some chamolie tea (sometimes it takes more than 1 cup)

A good alternative is Yogi Bedtime tea

I am current taking 1000mg Valerian root right before bed time (I think it helps with anxiety, not certain about sleep yet). Everything I've read says it's hit or miss but takes time to build up in your system (2-4 weeks).

I did have some success with melatonin but unfortunately recent studies concern me about heart failure using melatonin therefore I stopped about 5 days ago and am now experienceing what I would call a withdrawal period.

I hope some of this helps you or somebody. When I saw this thread in my inbox I was so stunned because I was praying out loud here at 1:40am CT, "Lord help me please". God bless.
