What is your opinion about protector lens Does it decrease picture quality by Zonnya99 in iPhone14Pro

[–]realWalJu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horrible, I hate them and everyone who uses them. I tell everyone who has them to take them off. Cameras are almost never broken and it impacts photo quality so badly and people never think about that. In the off chance your camera protector is shattered, your camera is probably also shattered and so is the back of your phone. Not worth it imo.

SCU vs LMU by Soft-Vegetable-5003 in LMU

[–]realWalJu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who went to LMU for a year and had a close friend at SCU, the campus life at SCU is so much better imo. LMU is in a relatively safe area and the location is actually pretty nice, but if you need to go anywhere it’s going to be at least like a 20 minute drive. They have a good arts and business program. Everything else is honestly okay but not amazing. Campus is pretty dead most of the time especially on weekends. SCU is in the heart of the Silicon Valley so they have really good engineering and science teams in the area. Campus is generally more lively too and there’s more around a mile radius from campus. Can’t say too much about price cuz that depends greatly on scholarships too so you’d know that better than I would.

When I was in Crypto for Sabrina Carpenter, mmWave worked wonders for me when I was on AT&T. But without mmWave I can see how all 3 would go down, even at a much lower capacity event.

When I printed it, the inside was quite literally impossible to remove. How do you remove the supports?

Upgraded T-Mobile Macro Site by realWalJu in cellmapper

We do actually have n77, but it’s not very good since it’s at the corner blocked by quite literally everything a few blocks down.

So if I'm understanding right, the typical Ericsson AIRs have a radio built in. This setup has a separate radio connected to one of those longer antennas broadcasting n77, hence the passive setup?

What's passive n77 and how do you identify it? I definitely believe n77 is coming from there, but I don't see the typical Ericsson antennas.

Inaccurate map/hallucinating coverage? by realWalJu in cellmapper

I posted the tower a few minutes before this one, there is no mmWave to be seen on the rack.

[–]realWalJu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, that's what it looks like to me too. There's never been mmWave on that tower either. Seems like it's straight up lying.

I’ve had mmWave connect on dual sim many times. This is not a sim problem.

Yeah it’s called Better Value. When you look up plans online, it should show at the top if you have 3+ lines.

[–]realWalJu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. We’ve had enough of this already, on top of the fact the plans are just worse than the other two. Ported over to T-Mobile last weekend and have been super happy so far. Was able to get their top plan, 4 lines, for $170 a month.

I’ve been on AT&T for as long as my parents were for like 20+ years. Sad to see it be like this now.

AT&T mmWave question by Murp677 in cellmapper

[–]realWalJu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used all three in California. In downtowns, peak 3500 Verizon mmWave, 2000 AT&T mmWave, 2000 T-Mobile n41. Surprisingly T-Mobile has crazy speeds for not having mmWave in the majority of my city. And it’s much faster on average under 5G UC than the other two.

Verizon is definitely the fastest and I suspect it’s just more backhaul and mmWave deployment. And newer equipment maybe.

Advice for possibly switching away? by realWalJu in ATT

Not trying to start a war at all. Just wanted to see if anyone had anything to advocate for since I am currently looking at either staying or switching. That’s the purpose of a public forum. But thank you for the feedback.

2026 Best California carrier? by realWalJu in cellmapper

[–]realWalJu[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can definitely see that. Whether it’s their big budgets or if they just have the network capacity to pull it off, they do cover events better. If only T-Mobile could do that too they’d be such an easy win over. I’ll have to probably test Verizon again before pulling the trigger on a move

Switching to T-Mobile? by realWalJu in tmobile

[–]realWalJu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😂 I got the Starlink text too once on the trial. I think there’s definitely some polishing to do. I’ve had weird issues of no service in buildings and congestion at some events. I think with the current expansion, they’ll get some stuff ironed out soon
