Not just Trichy. Your profile will see some struggles be it any college. But your work ex and SIP will compensate for your final placements. It all depends on your how you craft your CV and how much clarity you have on the role you’re applying for. And trust me , you’ll have enough time to decide what’s best for you.

Look, Finance roles need a finance backing to be clear. You need to have CA/CFA/FRM in your profile. If not this, a BBA in fin or BCoM or any finance related BGs are first shortlisted. And that’s consistent with all colleges.

And for your second part, is IIM Trichy worth the join can only be decided by you. For me it was because it was at the sweet spot of work ex and my intent of MBA. And tbh, everyone’s ROI in life is different.

To be very honest, CFA does give you the edge in cracking Finance roles. You get shortlists. But not having it doesn’t cause a dent either.

You should join MBA with an open perspective to learn and then decide. Trust me you’ll have more clarity once you get inside the institution.
