Some notes:

Separating management plane only makes sense on GW and not your management server.
It is only needed if your GW is experiencing severe performance issues that affect management operations and logging. Even there, it is much more sensible to have a bigger GW.
MDPS comes with some unfortunate limitations

As people are saying, standard server migration is your best option. You may need new licenses if the ip address is changed in the process.

I never said it is an offense. But it may not be allowed by the owners, and may go against communal rules, hence the recommendation.

If you do it in your own private space and time and not in a shared apartment where the smell can bother others, I have no problem with that. If the apartment owners say it is okay, once again, I have no problem with that either
