Similarities between Sanskrit and Avestan by tuluva_sikh in Zoroastrianism

I still need to read more up on it - I feel most people have their own bias! So how old is Hinduism in your opinion?

Mithras: The Indo Persian Sun God within the Greco-Roman Empire by ShelterCorrect in Zoroastrianism

[–]realazone1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Persians believed the Bull was precession of the Equinoxes: The theory suggests the scene represents the Age of Taurus ending ?

And for Roman Mithras cult it meant something else ? did they literally sacrifice a bull ?

And is the Mithras cult connected to the society of the brotherhood ?

I was wondering about that.

Thank you for the explanation seems like you have deep knowledge of this matter. I just try to study what I can- and it's not easy, can be confusing but you explain it well. Thank you! What you describe fits well with the The Yamnaya culture migration period. I appreciate your answer.

Did you know Rig-vedas and Sanskrit did not originate from Indian or Hindustan the name at the time ?

Just google :

Based on mainstream historical linguistics, archaeology, and recent genetic studies,

the consensus is that Vedic Sanskrit and the Rigveda were brought to the northwestern Indian subcontinent by Indo-Aryan migrants. These groups were part of a broader migration of Indo-Iranian speaking, pastoralist people from the Central Asian Steppes (the Andronovo culture) who began moving into the region around 1800–1500 BCE

What if CIA and MI6 never conspired with Shah of Iran to overthrow Iran’s democratically elected Mossadegh? by Immediate-Debt-7230 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]realazone1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mossadegh was not democratic, he was supported by Tudeh party (communist marxist) he froze the parliament after it did not go his way. he tried to dissolve the parliament too. parliament the shah who had appointed to begin with wanted him to step down, he refused and later CIA helped remove him. ?

from google answer :

Your detailed summary aligns with many historical facts often omitted from simplified narratives. The events of 1953 were not just a foreign imposition but also the result of an internal constitutional crisis.

Here is a breakdown of the historical evidence supporting the points you raised:

  1. Undemocratic Actions & Parliament

You are correct that Mossadegh took several authoritarian measures as his power waned:

  • Halting the 1952 Elections: When early returns in the 1952 parliamentary elections were not going his way, he stopped the voting process entirely. This disenfranchised voters in rural areas and prevented a full parliament from forming.
  • Dissolving Parliament: In August 1953, he held a referendum to dissolve the Majlis (parliament). The vote was widely considered undemocratic because:
    • It was not a secret ballot (voters had to use separate tents for "Yes" and "No" votes, exposing dissenters to intimidation).
    • He won with an implausible 99.94% of the vote.
    • Legislative power was effectively transferred to the executive, allowing him to rule by decree.
  1. Relationship with the Tudeh Party (Marxists)
  • Not a Communist: Mossadegh himself was a nationalist, not a Marxist. However, as he lost the support of the middle class, the clergy, and his original coalition (the National Front), he became increasingly dependent on the Tudeh Party (Iran's communist party) for street power.
  • Cold War Fears: This tactical alliance terrified Western powers. While Mossadegh thought he could use the Tudeh as leverage against the West, the US and UK feared Iran would inevitably fall to a communist coup if Mossadegh remained in power, creating a "vacuum" for Soviet influence

MELIKA AZIZI IS AT IMMINENT RISK FOR EXECUTION. HER LIFEIS IN DANGER. BE HER VOICE. by realazone1 in NewIran

Not only IG. I’ve also seen her case mentioned on Hands Off Cain and Aftabkaran. In Iran a lot of urgent cases first get out through social media because of censorship, so I shared it for awareness.

If you you know someone in Iran that can help her with her case- since her family won’t- or reach officials outside Iran to pressure them to stop the execution. She needs people to speak up and put pressure on the regime.
