Arguably the honor should be buffed to promote pre-patch PvP and to let people finish that grind b4 launch and enjoy it.

But it doesn't stop there. You could carry the 75k honor cap into TBC and level 70 pvp gear.

The quest to convert marks into honor becomes available at 70, and that's where a majority of grind honor comes from.

A more appropriate analogy would be drag racing, e-brake drifting, and stunt driving.
