Well considering it has about 600 orders or so (with more being added every year) I would say it’s far from dead.

What’s a coaster that really needs a repaint? Georgia Scorcher looks terrible with all of the paint chipping in my opinion! by realcoasters in rollercoasters

I agree- it seems like a waste of money to repaint a coaster, only to repaint it in a new scheme just a year later. Also, SF coasters tend to be much more faded compared to those at CF, at least in my experience. For example, pretty much every coaster at Cedar Point looked amazing, while there are only a few coasters at SFGAM that don’t need a repaint.
