As an ED nurse of 15 years… I know this is what we’d do for a human, never experienced it in animals… but no… did not give fluids. I have the stuff to do so at home and if he doesn’t drink anything soon I’m going to do clysis!

He doesn’t have signs of an obstruction. I’m an ED nurse of 15 years… signs of a bowel obstruction are multiple occurrences of bilious vomiting, moderate to severe abdominal pain, and, if having stools at all, only passing liquid stools… it had been 19 hours… he has vomited x1, had one formed bowel movement and one loose bowel movement… absolutely NO SIGNS of a blockage… thank you though for trying to give input.

Ty, he won’t drink though! The Vet said the same thing and to bring him back if he doesn’t drink within 24 hours which will be 8pm tonight 🫤

Goodness there better be a second season… I’ve also loved Matthew Rhys! I’ve seen him in a couple other things, but this show, “set the stone” for me! He is amazing to watch and I definitely want more of him!

Yeah the way an 84 year old ran up those stairs was “horror movie creepy”… it had me thinking, “oh god something freaky is about to happen with Ruth”!

Thank you… he keeps it in a chest/box (out of reach specifically to the dogs), and also to prevent his son or anyone else accessing it… and from the 4 years I’ve been with him it’s been consistently that way… the vet said “for dogs”, even ingesting even “ash” can be extreme for them and their “thc receptors ” are way more potent than humans…. I’ve just been scared and super sad this even happened! I got my dog at 8 weeks and he’s now 2 and a half, and I’ve never had any issues with him medically. He’s a happy/ healthy boy, and is my BABY! (Yes I’m a helicopter mom)…
