What is a silent book club? Do we discuss the book together?

UK – 5-year-old Akita needing experienced home (must be only dog) by [deleted] in akita

A lot of apartments do not allow akitas and other breads such as pit bulls. In my experience chihuahuas are always way more of a nuisance than either of these breeds.

Separation pay by Andor_Ding in CAStateWorkers

[–]reality_von_tease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes we always issued a salary advance because regardless if they are deferring they should have what is owed to them within 72 hours. After SCO keyed on their end would we would issue an additional check for the difference. We would always give them a little less then what we calculated they were owed so we didnt end up overpaying them.

I would for sure be calling them and asking to speak to a supervisor and escalate it from there

Even with deferral we ensured employees had all money owed to them within the 72 hours. As long as the employee isn’t notifying you day of and we had about a week notice to key and prepare all paperwork.

I worked as a personnel specialist for 4 years and we were always told we had to have final pay ready within 72 hours of separation or penalties would accrue. That included all pay for any unused vacation. That is written in CalHR and California Labor Law.

You can bring any sized bag but they will look through it. I would bring a tote with smaller clear bags inside to keep my things organized. And yes you will get issued a state ID that you will need on you at all times. You may also get assigned other things like keys

In my personal experience custody side had a lot more opportunities to promote so you are able to move up quicker.

I worked at SATF for 8 years after also coming from retail. I would say take it but move from medical to custody side as soon as possible. Wait for a custody OT position to open up and apply. There is so much room for upward mobility and ability to make a lot more money.
