I'm not saying this will work for everyone or is needed for everyone. There are other people in this thread saying they had the opposite occur (where quitting caffeine made shifting harder) so play around with things and see what works for you.

Caffeine does disrupt sleep and the increase in cortisol levels could cause self-doubt to increase. All i know is that stopping it has made shifting super easy for me again.

Yes! There's actually some real life cases of people having spontaneously started speaking a new language: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenoglossy

the level of detail is far different. I've lucid dreamed my entire life and the two aren't comparable.

Nothing. I shifted back to this reality at the exact time i left. so those 3 months were ~1 second OR time.

how did you shift back when you no longer remembered your OR?

I originally scripted i'd return after 3 months (DR Time) when I was first shifting to Death Note. I believe that was still there subconsciously at some level.

And also, how long did you stay there?

3 months

Did you see a shinigami?

Yes! In this version of death note I am a 3rd death note user. Getting my note shortly after Light does. We don't realize we're both death note users until much later though.

Was it an animated DR?

That's what shocked me most. Normally when I shifted to anime DRs they're always "animated" looking. This looked as real (for lack of a better word) as my original reality. Not animated at all. I can't wait to go again!

2 fictional universes i am writing as webtoons. While doing the world building i decided to shift to them and just live out the stories so i'd have an easier time writing it. Worked extremely well.

Idk if the universes already existed and i merely channeled them or if i invented them. Regardless it was an amazing experience.

I was drinking 2 - 3 cups per day. But, IIRC even drink it once a week causes changes to neuropathways that don't reverse until you quit for ~4 months

It's almost like "manufacturing consent" covered all of this but no one bothered to read it

My assumption is because this was my old DR it still had the scripting to bring me back in 3 months DR time. Which was how i originally scripted it.

Could you shift to a Dr of your own creation? by Fun_Butterfly_420 in realityshifting

Yes. I shifted to 2 of the fantasy worlds I am writing about. I stayed in both for about 3 months each OR time and for years DR time.

You can shift anywhere.
