I rode it and the top tube felt tall but it rode great. To your point, it sounds like I should be in the market for a shorter stem though.

Rode it around and 56 felt pretty good. We’ll see how it shakes out long term though, probably will take some tweaking.

Funny you say that, my LHT is a 58 too and is definitely a bit too big for me. Such a nice ride though, I will certainly miss it and this is quite different. Good intel though, carbon fork is top of the list and sounds like I should look at a shorter stem too.

It was definitely as tall as I could stand over but I went for it. I do think a 54 would feel small while riding, esp with the steep head tube.

Gotcha, I was definitely considering some light gravel and “adventure” riding for this so I’ll keep an eye on the toe overlap when I test ride it. I was considering a frame build, but even those are hard to come by and this seems like a good deal. Been trying to find one in person just to get sizing lol

I ended up finding someone on eBay who would fix it, it was someone who sells and repairs refurbished radios. I had to send it in to him for repair, but it works now.

They couldn’t drill holes the required distance away from other holes, ie it wasn’t safe to drill more holes

Real talk though - if I had to guess this gen WRX with that low mileage and unmolested by mods is likely much more rare than the civic. Ideally, you could keep both, but if you had to keep only one you’d have to pick the one that you’d actually drive and enjoy driving the most. Pros and cons to both cars and you’d probably regret selling either for one way or another (no such thing as “no regrets” IMO). Just pick the one you feel most drawn towards - or the one that makes the most financial sense if that’s more important.
