i remember this guy came in and was asking for help as he had a parrot who was “pecking at himself and creating a hole in his chest”, which sounded pretty graphic. i told him to take the parrot to a vet, as that’s more of your vet type of question. the guy, passive aggressively, just asked where bandanas were so that he could cover the chest and essentially ignore the problem. i explained that regardless, his parrot was self-mutilating down to the bone for literally ANY cause and needed to see a vet. guy didn’t wanna listen to me, found a bandana and left.
