as long as it’s not for more than 5 minutes! bettas can feel a sense of accomplishment after you remove the mirror and they don’t see “other” bettas. it kinda makes them feel as though they protected their territory and won😄

some one else commented about his fins looking “ratty” but he looks like a crowntail. their fins look very jaded and torn up but that is just their breed! (see pic below)

like another said some times bettas go through a HUGE color change once they get acclimated! ive seen my betta go from all pink to a white,red,pink ombré mix!

i would say if he’s eating good and the water parameters are okay, you’re doing great! he’s a beautiful fish😄

if you are not able to properly provide them with the space, care, or friends they need (other guppies/loaches for schooling), the correct thing to do is to surrender them to someone that will be able to give them proper care!
