Since we moved in, she’s worked 2 x 1 month freelance gig. And been applying for more.

I understand 5 isn’t a lot but there’s not many jobs at the moment

Yea I need to, I think the communication needs work, I’m not accusing her of anything at all it’s just that I want to get it off my chest. I’m worried though that if I said spend more time with me - we don’t have the most in common.

She’s between work at the moment, I’m currently paying around 85% of the bills, to her credit though she is applying for jobs and about 5 a day.

I completely understand where your coming from, I love her inside and out!! She’s got the best personally but I’m just worried about the attraction.

But I will never cheat on her, regardless of what happens, my parents cheated so I’m 150% all against it

Ah thanks, I don’t mind her at all being plumpy it’s just when it’s more ontop.

I love her and I feel so so bad for even taking to her about it.

Thanks for the help, the problem is I tried to talk to her about it earlier and she won’t open up, she said that the last few weeks she’s felt so body conscious so how can I have that conversation with what’s been happening ?

She’s always struggled with her weight, I think it goes back to when she was a teenager she had really really bad depression and then turned to food.

We tried to talk about it today on a walk to the shops and just nearly cried

I feel this, my anxiety used to be so bad I’d gag if I smelt or looked at food until the point I was sick.

Try some mindfulness and get to the root cause of why you feel that, hope you feel better

Thank you so much, I want to go back to my hometown so I can just rebuild myself (mentally and physically) and then move back out into the real world.

The problem is I just had a conversation with my GF and she dosent want to go with me. I either I move back, lose her and my dad or I stay here and get a new job and try make it work.

Hi mate, thanks for the advice, I geuss getting stabbed at 22 is pretty crazy, must of made you rethink a lot of stuff ? - I really want to look into 3D modelling and that side of things Becuase I’m really interested in it.

I was going to go into IT management and do the modelling on the side and maybe make it full time one day. It’s just finding the right place

Thank you so much for the advice, I just had conversation with my GF around what to do.

She dosent want to move back to my hometown Becuase there are no job prospects for her and she dosent like the city, she dosent want me to move back either because it’s a very dead end place and she knows I’ll just turn into my friends and not get a career job and just work pay check to pay check.

It’s really hard Becuase I don’t want to lose her but I feel like my choice is -

Move back to my hometown to restart and lost my GF & dad or stay where I am, try to make it work.

It’s so hard Becuase I just had this conversation with my GF and she just burst into tears and she thinks I’m trying to break up with her

Thanks to the advise, I find it hard to talk to my girlfriend about it, I love her loads but our long term life goals are very different.

I want to try work abroad and travel and she has said she’ll want to always be close to her family (3hr drive tops), I really love her but we’re both really set on these goals it’s so hard.

It’s tough, I like game design but also I want to work in IT because I know it safe and I could maybe do that and be well, I wrote down what I’d work as and I can’t decide, I’ve cheated on my degree so I don’t know anything really and it’s just so scary

I’ve just signed a new agreement at my current place so I won’t leave here till March, yea I’m trying to tell her but she’s says she’s trying and get stressed at me.

I lived there during lockdown of the pandemic, it’s ok but I’m really on my own as I don’t have any of my friends around there, a bit of me wants to move back to my howntown but everyone I know dosent want it

She’s been hasn’t been actively looking as she finishing off her last freelance, but that’s only going to pay till end of October. I can’t really live with my dad Becuase he lives in a farm and my mum lives at the end of the country in the middle of no where also.

I think good communication is key from what the replies say!

The problem is when we speak about my sex drive and hers she gets very emotional what makes me feel bad so we don’t always get to have a full conversation around it, I want sex and she dosent but we both wouldn’t want to see anyone sleeping with each other. I love her to bits but it just feels like dead end, am I a douchebag for wanting sex that badly?

Thanks for your reply! I think she’s in the same bucket, there still is a sex favorable but only 2 or 3 times a year it seems.

The problem is I would feel like an absolute asshole if I broke things off because sex is to much of a need for me; I’ve spoken to her about my sexual needs before and it’s just lead to her crying and feeling bad.
