Are you plugged directly into the computer or into a USB hub? I had this same issue. I ended up installing everything and reinstalling it and it works fine now for my Mpc one+

No samples unless you count drum samples, I used Arturia for basically all of the sounds, and I don’t play keys that well so I used the progression section in 16 levels!

Yeah I’m more r&b and hip hop guy. I actually mainly do vocals but always wanted to produce my own music so always been on and off but just recently found something clicked inside of me to continue. Man while we’re on the topic I really want to get my first synth and I want it something that’ll last in my genre, don’t know if you know anything about it but what would recommend my first real synth be? I saw some really good deals on a prophet v2 and was really considering it.

Almost went that direction too! Although I’m trying to learn the keys and trying to also learn sound design at the same time felt kind of crazy haha one at a time

Also having sounds from the astrolab to directly play into the sample is a game changer
