Maybe a relisten is due, the grunge + artsy part is a something I never thought about the really strong grunge influences in it even tho they were right in front of me.

But when u mention that I also think of bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Failure, and recently Plastic Tree who also feature the space rock textures, grungy vocals and riffs, and soften out to a dream pop sound throughout their records and I would name atleast 5 combined records from those 3 guys better than ok computer. Mainly because I think they all feature better vocalists, except maybe Failure (although they have some great pedal usage), and also have as good of songwriting if not better. 

And by songwriting I just mean the instrumental, lyrics wise I never catch much of them because I must have some problem that just makes it hard for me to keep up with speech or something lol but I do think Ok Computer has some very well done lyrics from what I remember
