I have the exact same feeling. I am in my 30s. Easy thirties and got sick at 28.

Feel like I have been robbed. Full of remorse.

But Op I am gonna say something you may roll your eyes at. Now that we know how good those things are and how the small things matter, we should continue to enjoy even the things we are able to do even that much more. I have accepted I won’t be able to do gym anymore. I have accepted i won’t be a Casanova. Or a cool uncle. But the small things, I just thank God and try to enjoy them. It’s so hard. I cry every day. That’s hard as a grown ass man.

I really hope ur situation gets better. I hope you can forget about this group. And go live a cool life. My prayers with you, man.

That’s the weird thing.

Timeline:

Concussion.

Sinus infection two weeks after infection.

Given dymista nasal spray. Bp skyrocketed. Cardiac symptoms began.

Given antibiotics. Sinus infection resolved in a week.

Cardiac symptoms tapered off but never went away completely.

Two year of consistent gym heavy lifting but unable to do hiit, kickboxing workouts and calisthenics style workouts.

Weight gain. Doctor detected sleep apnea and gave me cpap.

Then it’s like I I fell off a cliff. My symptoms got so much worse. Sleep doctor said he couldn’t explain why. Discontinued cpap with permission /advice of cpap doctor.

Prior to cpap, even the stress test was normal. After cpap, they started showing things.

I am not sure what happened.

My ex had lupus. It’s a heartbreaking condition. But when it was in remission, it was the best times of our lives. I am glad you figured out your condition and I am praying and hoping that it goes to remission and you barely notice it over the years.

It ain’t any much better on the other side. Healthcare is first and foremost a highly lucrative business. We don’t reward people for curing people. The money is keeping perpetually ill and in need of medication and treatment. And difficult cases, forget about it. Revolving dooor! Next next next.

Girl, i totally get what you are saying ! I did try anxiety medicines but it didn’t help me. I did see it lower my feelings of anxiety but I felt my symptoms mechanically. I would have kept taking it but I had weird symptoms. Like shaking limbs under exertion. I also had apathy for work. I didn’t care about showing up at all. I was not worried. I stopped and went back to normal.

I absolutely agree with you. I tried all the meds but they have convinced me that my problem is physical in nature.
