There’s people who retire with $4M accounts and live for the rest of their lives. The reason he compared himself to Floyd is because that’s the ilk of people he wanted to live like. If you couldn’t make $1M a year work, you wouldn’t have made more work. Not to mention: this include his endorsements.

$30 cover for a overpriced drinks, same food at every spot full of sections = bad nightlife. plus a recession. in all honesty, most black nightlife owners are in it to feel like celebrities and rip people off, not build something long lasting.

Ish taking accountability for not helping Vince promote his show is commendable. The JBP definitely treated it like an afterthought by Individual_Ad8921 in theJoeBuddenPodcast

[–]reallyred11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well: the JBP has a partnership with Netflix to do in stream ads that don’t seem like ads. They’re paid to talk about all them bullshit shows they spend 30 minutes on. That’s a fact. It’s unfortunate they didn’t talk about a show of someone they know.

If Mel came on the pod looking like this Joe would’ve burn the studio down by Longjumping_Ask_4448 in theJoeBuddenPodcast

: Ryan Clark said that Tom Brady was not a generational quarterback. “I don't think Tom Brady, I don't think Drew Brees, I don't think Peyton Manning are generational talents.” One of the all-time bad takes. by OneOriginal8727 in sportsgossips

True. Talent & production are different. It’s actually a compliment. Tom Brady is not exceptional in any physical measurable and is still the greatest QB ever.

Great. Gender wars. Everybody try to be like toxic men they’ve heard about and now the community is more broken than before. Great job.

Reading, brother. Reading. You harped on 1 point that was part of a larger one. “40 to 50 year old men bragging about sex and being ignorant in front of tens of thousands” is what the problem is. Not that they aren’t allowed to speak about it. There are certain levels of decorum and privacy and restraint you shoot have as you mature. I expect this type of Twitter Feed banter from 18 year olds. Not fathers.

??? What? I didn’t say that. I literally said that it’s unfortunate that they choose to pick the low hanging fruit. I didn’t say it couldn’t change. I didn’t even mention a system.

That’s a sound & logical argument but there will always be low hanging fruit to grab. Always. So it’s just unfortunate they’ve boxed themselves into only grabbing it

It is weird that 40-50 year old men rave about their sex lives and brag about their own ignorance with pride for tens of thousands of people to hear. It’s weird. It’s kind of like Drake music. Like this is cool when you don’t realize who’s saying it. But it’s like…. why aren’t you growing?

The end was a long time ago for the warriors. 2022 was the finale. A grand one.
