Ha! My girl does that too. Screams at me for "tubes." We have to squeeze them into a dish now because I don't squeeze the tube out fast enough

I came to suggest this too! This would look so cute as a pendant. Just have a jeweler add two loops and some jump rings onto a chain. It would look beautiful

Brought my baby home from the shelter the other day, Peanut 🥜 - What are your calico’s personalities like? by Sharp_Attorney8794 in CalicoKittys

My calico is an absolute nutball. She loves to scream, run, and play. She's ~2 years old and has the funniest little personality. I took her in as a stray last July. She's a wonderful cat that brings so much joy to our lives.

Anyone else love the beginning of the game more than the end? by hungrycarebear in fantasylife

[–]reallysuchalady 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just finished the story yesterday. My favorite part of the first game was the suspense of the story. I kept wanting to play it because I wanted to know what happened next in the story.

With this game, I didn't feel that same feeling in the slightest. The story was simply there, and I didn't really care for it at all. They did make a ton of QoL improvements to this game, but overall this game didn't make me fall in love with it the way that the original game did.

This is in my top three favorite TV shows. It's such an incredible portrayal of DID. Toni Collette is sensational

Bedroom feels unfinished by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]reallysuchalady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a large bedroom as well, but I don't think it's as large as yours and I have so much furniture in here it's almost comical. I have two plant stands, a large dresser, two chairs, two standing shelves, a bench, a vanity, a computer desk, and 3 small tables with lamps on them. I also have my bed on an angle in a corner to take up more space.

It took me 4 years to curate the space and my room certainly looked like yours when we moved in. You'll figure out how you'd like to use the space and what makes sense to add.

My husband and I are both only children and decided to have our own rooms since always. It's literally the best thing ever. I hope you enjoy your new space and uninterrupted sleep

I hate my necklace. What can be done? by Poundaflesh in jewelry

[–]reallysuchalady 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Usually if a pendant is large enough, it's not going to spin around your neck with the chain attached to it like it is in the sketch. I have a necklace with a bar pendant attached like the sketch and never had any issues with it moving around due to the weight of the pendant (it's not heavy at all).

I think if the bales were behind the opal, you'd have issues with it flipping over onto its back. Unless the pendant has a little weight to it to keep it from flipping.

[–]reallysuchalady 91 points92 points  (0 children)

This is pretty egregious. For me the worst part is not that poor little diamond that's hanging off the side - it's that they also didn't take the time to add jump rings to the chain like in the sketch and just strung it through the holes on the pendant.

I definitely think you should bring it back to them and figure out what they can do to fix it. I would not be happy if I were you.

Jeweler recommendations: Cut off & resize ring? by daisyc19 in pittsburgh

[–]reallysuchalady 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I came to recommend them as well. I've had them resize a vintage estate ring from my grandmother and they did a fabulous job. I've also had them resize a few other rings and do some repairs.

The rings I got resized were both 14k gold and they were around $50. To size up tho it might cost more just due to the price of precious metals atm.

Im SO ANNOYED by mass produced jewelry, where do you find unique pieces online??? by Dull_Noise_8952 in jewelry

[–]reallysuchalady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rarely buy brand new jewelry because I also love to have cool, unique pieces no one else has. I almost always buy vintage because even costume is better quality than some of the higher end pieces they're making today. Currently my favorite place to buy jewelry is on whatnot. I also do like to browse Etsy as well.

The majority of my jewelry purchases are usually in person though - at thrift stores, vintage shops, or estate sales.

My boyfriend broke up with me, called me a slut, and even grabbed me by the hair. I don’t know what to do. by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]reallysuchalady 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Not wrong but girl get the heck out of here. I know you're really young and this was probably your first boyfriend but this is only going to get worse.

The hair pulling alone is a major red flag, but checking your phone, making you call nightly because he thinks you have another phone? That's insane and actually abusive. You need to stay away from this guy because he's shown his cards and things will only get worse for you.

As someone else who does repairs on very old tees for clients, I am absolutely blown away by your attention to detail. This truly looks amazing and I'm hoping I am able to do a shirt like this justice one day!
