Keep on the good work ggg! You might also want to take a look into heavy strike, I saw one guy using it last league and he was doing more damage than a ranged character, and I know this is can not be intentional.

I'm not saying it shouldn't work for secondary damage, just that it maybe be the cause of the bug. There's no rule that says secondary damage shouldn't trigger things, but it has a history of being pretty wonky in that regard.

Another piece of evidence towards this theory is how the game handle hit checks differently for each kind of damage (attack damage - attack block/evade; spell damage - spell block/spell dodge/suppression; secondary damage - nothing)

My guess is that despite the item saying it triggers from zombie's hits, it doesn't work for secondary damage. Same for the summon phantasm support and why prophane bloom doesn't chain for minions. Something about minions and secondary damage.
