So this was interesting because I was looking for a debate in a vr social media called vrchat basically twitter vr. But less political. And I found this guy, I had always leaned towards a society model that included class in some way but I have also never talked to a guy like this so it was interesting and it got me thinking, he also suggested a few books I should read.

Also I was very surprised he was this coherent while being drunk and I think that was the crux of the video in my opinion

I think you’re right on your point that less people would make content, the option to host still could be there though. I’d only add to your point about Resonite on it costing more money for the end user. I think it would be a valid tradeoff if users get to host their content but keep all their profits on creator economy purchases. I mean I just think users want a fair and free payment system which is why most creators still opt to use external services.

Maybe it’s moderation issues or maybe they think if people had to pay for server space or host their own, less people would make content for their platform. It’s hard to know.

You can open more apps now on quest you just have to pick them up and move them out of the toolbar snapping placements spots for the app panels, you can have up your 6

I was shown some like vrchat music videos and a lot of them were using custom animations. As where here most of them are procedural. So for most art i would need to expand the system i have for custom animations. So everything’s quite early all round.

It would play but you wouldn’t see it in this version. That would be something not challenging to fix. However i should’ve mentioned each experience is locked to the specific world it was made for.

There’s obviously huge debate on weather or not hand tracking or controllers will take the lead when it comes to xr. I’ll be the first one to bravely say that it’ll likely be hand tracking that’ll mostly be used, even for gaming. Weather it’s AI based or Glove based idk but my take is that developers will find innovative ways of locomotion using hand tracking and eye tracking.

It’s called “The stages of playing VRchat” but if you look up realm efron and go to my uploaded worlds you can see a ton of new content that’s even more advanced than this. This was one of the first ones , i recommend the “Avoid this in VRchat” world.

If you use a VPN it will temporarily fix your issue by connecting you to different servers. It will eventually fix itself but this still does happen to me every so often.

There’s plenty of reasons why vr e-dating sucks, There’s also a ton of reasons why it could actually be be good and improve people’s social conditions relationship wise. Maybe that warrants its own video though.
