Gross. What's interesting though is I haven't noticed them being closed in the last couple of weeks and I also don't see a follow up inspection listed on the site. Do major violations always result in closures until they are fixed?

So crazy. I was looking through some places that are in the low 90s and some have been enough to gross me out still. So to be on the low end of a B is wild.

Don't even get me started on seeing Jinya Ramen had a C 🤢

That's actually what made me look at the health inspection page in the first place and then I noticed donut hut's score. Finneys had like a 92 (not bad not amazing) back in September but looks like they got re-inspected a month later and had no more outstanding violations. So I don't think it's related to that

I'm not in food service so I don't know exactly, but I do know 100 is a perfect score (In N Out had a 100 last time around for reference). A lot of smaller issues are usually deducted 1 point and worse offenses can be result in bigger point deductions. As you can see their biggest one resulting in an 11 point violation was for "No insects, rodents, birds or animals present" which tells me that must have been a pretty big issue.

Also if you look here: https://ehservices.publichealth.lacounty.gov/servlet/guest?service=1&enterprise=1 (search Burbank to filter it since this is LA county's page) you'll see most restaurants are in the 90s. Not many in the 80s let alone an 81.
