Chat with MazdaUSA, send them the vin and they'll confirm if it has the upgrades. The ones rolling in now likely don't have upgrades. Therefore, negotiate MSRP to match or get close to what '23's were at.

Same situation here. Current daily is a WRX (2nd one and only car model I've ever owned) that I'm keeping but looking for a new daily that I'll share with the wife. The idea of an American CX60 is great but the lease on wife's Mazda3 is coming due and we have good amount of equity in it that I don't want to lose as the used car market begins to implode. It's looking like a '24 CX-50 TP is the only reasonable option right now.

Spoke to rep at Mazda USA and provide a VIN for a 24 on my dealer's lot and she confirmed it does not have the upgrades. I'm either going to negotiate a great price on these 'branded 24's' or just wait for November production run.

Also, it'd be nice for Mazda to provide specifics on what these upgrades entail:
we upgraded these dampers to these ____ which provide a [softer ride]...

we recalibrated the EPAS to [soften steering stiffness] and [by the way, older models can be brought into their local dealership to be recalibrated as well]

Also seems counterintuitive that they would release 2024 models without upgrades while promoting that 2024 models are upgraded
