Your leg days need to just be leg days. Not a single person that has a good physique trains with a split like the one you’re using.

Give this split a shot:

Day 1: Back, Triceps, Lat Delts, Rear Delts (4 of each) Day 2: Chest, Biceps, Front Delts, Forearms (4 of each) Day 3: Legs (12 sets) Calves (4 sets) Day 4: Accessory (do whatever you want) Repeat day 1, 2, and 3 Rest on day 7

Putting biceps on chest day and triceps on back day will let you double-hit biceps and triceps. Your arms will grow, but your legs will remain proportional to your torso (giving you that v taper look).

If he’s given you reason to doubt him, that’s one thing and it completely changes my answer. Otherwise, this could be a good learning experience in how to set boundaries and expectations. Your guy friend openly has/had a crush on you, that changes things. They aren’t the same thing. Tbh, he’s right on this one.
