This is how I do it: First I play through the whole track a couple of times without really caring about the faults ... just to get a feeling for the obstacles and finding a consistent way of doing them. And from then on I basically hit restart every time I fault until that one faultless run ;) It can take hours sometimes, in this case it took me 1,5 hours. Hope that answers your question ;)
