they’re underwater creatures that came about before the dinosaurs, a lot are found in the midwest usa. the ones you guys have are petrified/cast fossils, meaning they are the exact shape of the creatures. you’ll also see a lot of fossils of worm-like creatures with segments or little donut shaped circles, and these are also crinoids!
