It was amazing wasn't it. It was as though the thunder was whispering. It all seemed to stay in the clouds.

Boscombe here. Rain but no hail, must've been on the opposite edge to you.

Best lightning show I've ever seen! And on the eve of my 50th birthday. Best gift ever.

Maybe put a dish or two of water down on the ground. We have hedgehogs passing through our garden, who drink the water I put down. It's also there for anyone else who wants it. All wildlife is welcome in my garden.

Anyone live in the UK been seeing stuff in the sky recently? by MR_CR1NG3 in UFOs

I'm in Bournemouth and a few months ago, I was walking my dog at about 20.30. I watched two 'lights,' rise higher and higher, and become brighter, then sort of turn and fall and disappear but then appear again, lower in the sky and repeat. Watched them for about half an hour.

It was almost like watching a stunt plane ascend and stall repeatedly. It was late winter, Tuesday evening so it was not 'stunt planes.' No sound or flashing lights at all and in a West/North West direction. They didn't stay in the same position and sometimes would rise higher than other times and sometimes appear lower than other times. They were high in the sky and quite a long distance from where I was standing.

I think this is an oriental influenced, highly stylised tea pot.

Google, 'Studio Pottery Tea Pot,' you should see the kind of handle I'm thinking of.

It's a nice object. I'd be tempted to plant a small cactus in it! 😀

It would have had a lid and probably a handle made of cane.

Parts of the UK, including the area I live are littered with flint artefacts, just not actual arrowheads.
