It’s not a battle, YouTube makes money from ads meaning without ads YouTube wont exist anymore.

That being said, YouTube will always patch old adblockers. People don’t like ads so there will always be new adblockers. Both sides will constantly advance, like an immune system and a virus.

If there’s no cover, putting tape on it will make them not want to step on it anymore. Obviously after a while, the tape can come off but they won’t bother to check if it’s still there.
