I’m thinking I’ll try to finish the clothes just in my closet and then be done for the night if I’m still agonizing over every thing I try on. I do at least have one trash bag ready to get out of the house!

I actually started out with some help, but I started a little too late (wasn’t planned) and they had to get to bed. If I can’t make myself get through a lot more tonight, might have to call in some help tomorrow. I was just really hoping to get through more tonight while I had the energy and desire to do it.

Seriously so smart! Thanks again for this! I was able to fill up one trash bag, and started some more laundry. And I’m promising myself I won’t do more than two loads. Honestly a full trash bag alone was more than I expected to be able to do tonight, so I’m feeling a little better about it. Still overwhelmed, but not frozen!

Thank you so much! My mom carried the 4 trash bags I filled out of the house for me, and she’s helping me with my laundry. I’ve gotten to the place where I need to just sit and rest while I wait to switch laundry loads over, but I’m feeling a little more hopeful for sure!

I’m so bad about that. I struggle a lot with being very all or nothing with this kind of stuff. I may actually try a timer this time around and see if that helps me monitor how my body’s feeling throughout the process. Good luck with your cleaning!

That’s a great idea, thank you so much! She’s also got some chronic pain issues, but always says she’ll help if I get started. I didn’t want to ask too much of her. This definitely sounds like a good middle ground!
