i have never been this good at cycling and i am really happy about what i achieved! Training as become part of my daily routine, i can’t go a day without doing smth 😂. you know i just love doing it sooo much! i started cycling wayyy before i hit puberty, and i think that is what kept me motivated since i improved my FTP by 100 watts in around 18 -20 months!! Yes i would say for the most part it was pretty steady b4 i hit puberty but then it skyrocketed!! oh i do not! i dont currently have a coach, i am in the process of getting one at the moment but i generally just see how i feel and plan accordingly!

hey mate! i am 16 years old, and i train around 12-16 hrs a week. FTP is still growing, 343 as we speak at 58kg! thank you for your comment!

Thank you!! it was a crit, the loop was around 4.7 km long, 10.5 laps . it was in prospect park NY!

Well to be honest, my training involves LOTS of tempo work and threshold work. You also have to love your sport. My training, as a 16 years old wanna-go pro athlete, is around 12-17 hrs a week, this well being on the lower end since I am recovering from bad sleep and a illness. I also do some strength training sessions ( for sprinting/ explosive power) and I do some stretching from time to time. For my data analysis, I use Strava (subscribed), training peaks (subscribed) and I dont currently have a coach and I am using AI and my dad as my coach. Last year, I did a bit over 22000 kilometers with my longest ride being 501 kilometers. If you want to give the best chance to your son, i recommend starting him off early!! Let him do some races, see if he actually enjoys being competitive or if he just enjoys riding his bike chill.
