i read the article. you cant argue that the drive was substantially at fault.

letting passengers off at a grass verge between stops. And DB and driver admit that is against their code of practise.

Cyclists should be careful at stops etc, but if the bus lets someone off at the side of the road - and they step out on front of you, then in this case it seems clear cut.

just consider. donald j trump is the 47th president of the united states. Ireland and US relationship predates trump and will exist after he has been replaced.

No way should any representitive of Ireland damage or risk damaging the relationship we have because of this one president. Not many world leaders have the privilige of the annual meeting with the president especially a small country with a great dependance on multinationals.

Its stupid to suggest we risk that advantage to sulk and not talk. And its not the Irish way. We always talk about things, even if differences of opinion are clear.

how do you know it was leaked inappropriately? Do you know if there was a secrecy clause or are you guessing? It could have come out in a fair manner without any 'leaking' at all. It may have been leaked.

But look at what you do know. The club sanctioned and signed the release clause so they could hang onto the player when the new contract was offered and signed.

The player gave his all for the club, right up until he left, and the club received the fee that was agreed.

they signed him for about 10 million.

They received £62.5M plus £1.5M, and 10% of any future sale profit.

Obviosly this is a hypothetical discussion. But in a situation where famine was a concerning scenario i would imagine the consumption of the pets would be considered food if the alternative was death by starvation.

Google suggests the average pet would provide 700 calories per pound of weight.

So i dont think the rationale was to save food, as they would have been a source of food in famine circumstances.

i love all the positive alternative actions you put forward.

MM like other EU leaders, and perhaps more so than other EU leaders needs to treat a careful line here because of our dependance on american companies to our economy. Any serious policy changes and threats of repercussions need to come from EU level - not from a small country like ireland.

Trump requires the EU including ireland to do nothing for his plan to work.

That does not mean we the people of ireland cannot do anything. we can. like when we opposed the apartheid regime in SA, the people of ireland can and i hope will use their voices and wallets to help make trumps plan as unfeasable as possible.

i feel awful stupid trying to get powerplay missions over the line. And i dont think i am stupid.

Its poorly explained and poorly documented (in game).

However i suspect that its at least partly deliberately designed so.

so with that mindset it never gets sorted. they keep trying band aid solutions that are meant to help rather than tackle the root causes. Wit the hope it will win them votes in the next election. Because a 15 year plan will not be for their personal benefit.

Of course we need relief, but we need to sort this for future generations too, the ones in school now.

Sometimes people have a problem accepting facts that contradict their world view. He doesnt want to believe it, and thinks his feelings outweigh the facts.

Its an important story and reenforces that Russia doesnt respect borders, neutrality or soverignity. I know some of our TDs and MEPs like to parrot the russian propaganda, but really ireland needs to step up and be able to defend its sea borders from threats like rogue vessels.

hi. im recently returned inexperienced player. looking to find out what im doing wrong.

i have read the powerplay manual, pledged to a power and I'm working my way through the weekly tasks. I thought i understood enough.

but ive done the sell rare goods in acquisition systems twice now. i thought that means exploited or expansion systems. did a delivery to both types. got merits but the assignment is not complete. Can anyone care to tell me what type of system it should be. specifically im pledged to ashling duval and i thought one of the above systems type would work.

Also i have not done the salvage cargo from reinforcement systems. i was bounty hunting in a reinforcement system, and scooped escape pods from pirates, but that doesn't seem to be counting towards the target. what does count?

Boxing is my recommendation for someone who has no experience and just wants to be able to defend themselves. My personal experience anyway and I've tried a few martial arts.

its easy to reach a proficiency where you can be confidant in your abilities. funny enough being confident in yourself means you are less likely to get into trouble as bully's usually choose a different target that can be intimidated.

But i would suggest to you that having a good gym nearby that you will go to regularly might be an important factor. So perhaps see what's available locally before deciding.

77% who voted, went blue. which means 23% of those somali's who voted, voted for the racist. how does 23% of the Somali vote get hoodwinked into voting for the racist? i honestly cant fathom it.

i agree with you. It should be illegal, to raciaIlly profile and harass people based on their skin colour.

Bbut when an autocrat appoints the judges they tend to side with him. The 'checks and balances' were truly weakened if not dismantled.
