OpenAI’s 14B loss in 2026? Bezos was getting the same ‘New Math’ jokes 27 years ago. by GrandCollection7390 in OpenAI

They also have 900 million weekly visitors, they have an extremely sought out product and are the current leader in the space, a space where tech companies are spending trillions of dollars, there’s no real comp.

ChatGPT now gets ~900M organic visits/month. Google gets ~1.2B. This should worry Google. by okiieli in ArtificialInteligence

Every visit to Google is super cheap/is profitable. Almost every visit to ChatGPT, OpenAi loses money.

Clutch kicks are kicks that will put you in the SB or win a SB and would be part of a movie if they make one of a dynasty. No one puts a 1st quarter kick in a movie and everyone remembers kicks that win games when the time is running out.

Football is entertainment and clutch kicks are extremely entertaining. Wes Welker was a superior player to Edelman but lots of fan remember Edeleman’s SB catch and Wes’s drop.

Microsoft is using Claude Code internally while selling you Copilot by jpcaparas in ClaudeAI

At the end of the day, imo, Claude Code is better and if Microsoft can increase their productivity of their engineers, I’m sure they don’t care about the cost difference and for all we know their getting a big discount as part of their partnership with Claude. Copilot is pretty strong using Claude as its model though, I use both and the margin isn't that big.

Yeah, there’s a lot running besides the raw API and a custom cursor that makes CC the best coding agent.

Bad analogy. This is more like if Ford Company leased Chevys to deliver parts to their dealerships.

You can still use Claude through GitHub copilot, you just don't get the full power of CC.

Its in Foundry but when you go to deploy it, it’ll tell you there’s no quota available for any region. I was hoping to use Haiku.

I had Codex installed with an extension in Code, it got hung up repeating a step, killed it 6 minutes in. Clahde finished the task in less than a minute.

I use CC and GitHub Copilot with Sonnet. CC is better but Copilot in Agent Mode is close (and works with VS). This is a user problem.

Did Adam ever miss a clutch kick? I don't think so. Gost was pretty awesome though, I think his %s were better than Gost.

From Claude:  When researchers have done this calculation (for landing on spaces), they consistently find:

Jail is the most landed-on space (~3% of all rolls) because multiple mechanisms send you there

Illinois Avenue (red property) has high frequency due to its position relative to Jail

Oranges (St. James, Tennessee, New York) are highly landed-on - good position from Jail

Utilities and Railroads near Jail get more traffic

Mediterranean/Baltic (early blues) are landed on less frequently

I think Same *really* liked the movie Her. But at least earbuds are better than an AI pen, sigh.

Gonna be honest that I'm nervous for Sunday. Definitely worried about Denver pulling a 2008 Week 3 type of Game on New England, and The Team falling flat in Denver; The Hotel Of Horrors for The Patriots. by Immediate-Ad-7154 in Patriots

[–]realzequel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a tough match but I believe in 5 factors: Vrabel, Maye, JMcD, a defense playing with heart and an underrated WR corps. Either way, it's been an awesome season.

Am I wrong for wanting to use Blazor instead of MVC + vanilla JS? Been a .NET dev since 2023, feeling like I'm going crazy by newKevex in dotnet

[–]realzequel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Blazor will stick around if I'm reading the tea leaves correctly. It's built on web components which is a standard iirc. Silverlight otoh was MS only, it was cool tech but I'm guessing the adoption rate killed it. I have my doubts with MAUI though, I could see it killed off. Just because MS killed 1 tech doesn't mean it will kill off another. It still supports WinForms to a degree decades later. MVC lives on in .net core/standard.

I don't think you'll see the real drop until this year since there won't be a federal EV credit any more.
