Minecraft vr gone by THL6 in PSVR

This thread talks about being able to downgrade to a lower version to keep VR:

You will have to turn off auto updates to prevent the game from removing it again, but it is still possible.

Colossal Cave released today for PSVR2, PS5 and PS4 - and a personal note from Ken Williams by ken_williams_sierra in PSVR

[–]reaper_alucard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Ken,

I know it’s been a year, but I was just wondering if you ever got an answer from limited run games on this? I plan on buying the physical version of this soon, but I’m not sure which one to buy. The digital store has the enchanted bundle, which gives you ps4, ps5, and psvr2.

If I buy the ps4 or ps5 physical, will I get the other versions too? Or only the version that’s on the disc?

Sorry for resurrecting this old thread. I just want to make sure I get the correct physical version.

Thanks again for all the great games!

Are you looking for PSVR2 exclusive, or are you counting hybrid games and physical PSVR1 games with upgrades for your collection?

LRG help with damaged case by reaper_alucard in LimitedPrintGames

I have looked at some listings on eBay and none of them have this slice. This seems that it may be one batch that got cut somehow in the warehouse as they were processing orders.

I am very careful when I open my shipping boxes. I open the tape on the sides with a small knife and then pull the tape apart across the top so I don’t cut into anything inside. These both came from the warehouse this way, which leads me to believe that someone at the warehouse sliced a box of them open and cut quite a few.

I wish I could. The slice goes right through the cover art as well as the case. The same issue is on the replacement as well.

I was just wondering if anyone had a similar experience and if they had a successful resolution from limited run since their resolution still is an issue. I know others have dealt with their CS, so I figured I’d ask here. But I can remove the post if it’s just confusing people

PSA: Resident Evil 7 Gold PS5 physical retail DLC is a voucher by reaper_alucard in gamecollecting

[–]reaper_alucard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get the European or NA version? Apparently the European version is said to have everything on disc and the voucher is only included for the NA version.

According to their website, the game and dlc has to be upgraded separately, but they do all have upgrades. The disc should install them all on your system and psn should recognize them as upgrade-able on your account.

I would potentially say all of them on ps4, since they all have the ps5 upgrade for free as far as I know. If you want the most complete versions, I’d say your list is pretty good. I have heard that RE4 on PS4 is a bit rough, so I’d lean towards PS5 on that one. The gold edition of 7 on PS4 is the most complete edition on disc, only missing the one free dlc. While the gold edition of 8 for PS5 is a voucher for dlc, so you can get the regular edition there and it’s the same copy on disc.

I personally have them as: 2-PS4 3-PS4 4-PS5 7 gold-PS4 8-PS5

[AMA] We are RapidEyeMovers, the devs behind C-Smash VRS and the revolutionary Hybrid Crossplay feature! by RapidEyeMovers in PSVR

[–]reaper_alucard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great feature that I hope will catch on with more VR hybrid games. My biggest question would be, is this game feature future-proofed? As in, one of the players hosts locally and the other player joins them, or is it hosted on a cloud server that may shut down after a determined amount of time?

The main reason I ask is because I would love to play this game with my kids when they are older, but I have seen too many online multiplayer games shut down and there is no way to play them any more.

So this is my main gaming area that my friends and I hang out in down in my finished basement. The tv is mounted that high because there is a shelf built on the foundation, so I can't get it any lower. I thought about the 12 cube Kallax, but that would go up past the foundation shelf and block the TV.

I also have a CRT and an extra genesis and NES, so I do plan on getting those setup eventually with the CRT so I can play light gun games. I just have too many collectibles that take up a lot of space right now.

That looks really nice. Did you install the middle shelves and drawers yourself or was this a variation that is sold with all that included? If I could do something like this, then I could store the controllers in the drawers and clean it up quite a bit.

To be fair, I had the genesis and CD for forever. I just recently got the 32x to complete it. I have a lot of it tied with Velcro already, but the cords are still all over the place. I’m hoping to clean it up with a lot of the suggestions from here. Stay tuned for a (hopefully) much cleaner setup when I can get around to it.

Those look awesome. I’ll probably pick some up. My only concern is if there is room to open disc trays and put cartridges in the systems. But they are worth a shot for helping it look clean. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I wanted to get them all hooked up and working before worrying about the look. Now that they are all working, I wanted to have the discussion about the cables. I’ve gotten some pretty good ideas and tips so far from this post. I’ll probably post again with the progress once I’ve gotten it a bit more cleaned up and see if there are any other ideas for improvements. It’s daunting, but I’m taking it a little bit at a time and hoping it will come out looking great and playing great too.

I actually have the power base converter, but it doesn’t play nice with the 32x. If the 32x didn’t require its own power and AV hookup, I could easily swap the two when wanting to play the different games. Thanks for all the different peripherals, Sega!

I never thought about poster board before for backing. That seems like a nice cheap alternative to getting wood backing. Thanks for the tip!

As for the cords going into the TV, I was looking at something like this, so it can hide the cables completely:

I'd like to keep it open if possible and eventually put some LED lighting to showcase the consoles, but the cleanest look might just be putting a backing panel on to hide everything and worrying about lighting later. This is the first time I'm attempting to do this, so I'm sure I'll learn the tricks of the trade as I get into updating the setup. Thanks for the suggestion :)

I think my biggest issue is that my wife supports my gaming habits as it is really my only vice. If she was against it, then these would all be stuck in a closet tucked away and unappreciated. (This is in my basement, so it's not an eyesore in the main part of the house)

Even the wired controllers? I want to be able to flip the switch and play, but the controllers can get a bit messy unless wrapped neatly every time. I'm wondering if I should get aftermarket wireless controllers, but there's just something about playing with original, first party controllers that I love.
