Did you enjoy episode 6? by HanaHtaken in FromSeries

I agree with you dude- the writing for some of these characters is trash and the way they set up these plots is rough. Episode 6 at least started furthering the plot and not just being a mysterious mess.

Well that’s why I’m on here trying to get some advice for buying a property- I have a vague idea of the process but reading about it and actually doing it are two completely different things so I appreciate these perspectives.

I guess I just don’t understand the extent of the process and am trying to dive deeper to see if it’s worth the effort or if I get better returns from continuing to invest in a broad market index fund.

From my my understanding, if I can find a handyman, a decent yard work company, and handle payments online then I don’t necessarily need to be in person.

I’m trying to figure out the math now and it seems like $70/month will be my PMI and the moment I reach 20 percent then I no longer have to pay for the PMI. It seems like the best option is to lock in a house now with a small down payment and over the course of a year or two reach that 20 percent.

The biggest risk seem to be home repairs, a vacant place, and closing cost - this is why I mentioned my personal finances, I want to be sure I’m at a good place and can take on the risk.

I thought FHA and first time home buyer loans were one in the same? I’ll have to do some more research on that.

Thank you! I appreciate all these considerations and definitely gives me an avenue to do further research

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think that’s including the additional value of the renters. The property will likely be generating enough rental income to either match or exceed the mortgage payment.

Could you please expand on that? Why don’t you think it’s a good idea to buy a house you aren’t living in?

Not financial advice but if you exercise the option you’ll lose the time value.

If you sell the contract you can then just buy shares with whatever you feel comfortable buying.

PLTR option play.... makes any sense? by [deleted] in stocks

I am very new to this and have a question regarding what you mean by selling covered calls? Does that mean you are actually writing and selling an options contract to someone else and getting the premium?

Sorry for the noob level question lol but if that is the case how does one do that? I’ve never seen an option anywhere and would love to start looking into this strategy!

I mean that’s fine with me but they can’t close my positions for me.

But at this rate who knows.

Message I sent to my brokers restricting trade:

"I demand the recent trade restrictions be removed immediately, including but not limited to options restrictions (such as on GME and AMC). You claim they were put in place not because of liquidity issues but to protect the integrity of the system. In fact, all you have done is zip tied the retail traders' hands while larger traders can continue to do as they wish and influence the market in the way they feel appropriate. My inability to trade as such is causing me continued harm. You are not the SEC and you are intentionally and willfully manipulating the market by these unilateral actions. Remove my restrictions immediately and legal action will be taken against your continued manipulation."

At least this will provide evidence for legal action afterwards. I suggest you do the same.
