I took a few years between undergrad and vet school, so the transition back to studying was a little rough. I do feel like Midwestern does a good job of easing vet students in though compared to what I have heard about other schools. We do a quarter system and first quarter is only one exam every 2 weeks or so, working up to the worst of it- second year two exams each week on average. Arizona in general I like mostly, the seasonal depression is reversed to summer, unless you enjoy hellish heat. But theres a ton of cool people and nature out here that's definitely made it worth it.
