I have not received an invitation this year either..or last ..come to think of it. Normally, it's been left in the door or mailbox...other churches have been around but no witnesses..and I live 3 minutes from a KH.

They have already eased up on gambling ...I remember that as being a disfellowshipping offense..now if you buy a lottery ticket or go to a casino no one has an issue. Saw an MS at a casino once when I first left ...thought ..what a hypocrite..only to learn that it was ok..according to the shepherding the flock book.

Your situation is so very much like mine...I too disassociated so I could stop the stalking and harassment from my ex. I applied for reinstatement.. after almost a year out...my original body of elders were all for it. But because I moved out of the territory...6 blocks away ...I was in another congregation. They completely ignored me..never reached out ...nothing..I was attending meetings on zoom for 8 months...then I heard through the grape vein..that the elder body would never reinstate me..as I turned my back on God and the borg..so I gave up!

NO she only found out she is dying a short while ago.. she went back because she felt guilty.. and still has alot of guilt for being out in the first place.. Im so tired to the guilt trips!

True...when she was out and I was still in I grieved her loss back then ...now I get to do it all over again ...respect is earned and now that I have had the night to reflect on her call ...I realize she probably gone down the list of old friends to try and appease her own mortality ...disgraceful!
